What will the weather be like?

Answer

September in Colorado is usually gorgeous with sunny days and cool evenings. That being said, the weather can change quickly! We recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl for the evening.

Will the ceremony and reception be at the same location?

Answer

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Craftwood Peak by Wedgewood Weddings, so once you arrive, you’re set for the evening. We’ll transition from the ceremony to cocktail hour and then dinner and dancing, all in one beautiful spot.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors with the reception indoors. In true Colorado fashion, we’re hoping for that perfect fall sunshine, but we do have a weather backup plan as well as umbrellas provided by the venue, just in case!

Can I bring a date or kids?

Answer

We’d love to celebrate with everyone, but due to space and budget, we’re keeping the guest list intimate. Please refer to your invitation to see if a guest or your children are included. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to clarify!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Craftwood peak has on-site parking available, however it may be limited. We do recommend carpooling or rideshare if possible, especially since the drinks will be flowing later!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar with top shelf liquor available throughout the reception.

Will there be food?

Answer

Yes! There will be appetizers at cocktail hour following the ceremony, a formal dinner, and cake!
