Transportation Options

Parking is available for a small fee at the Visitors Building at Oakland and along streets. There will be signs inside the cemetery pointing you in the right direction to the ceremony at Richards Historic Mausoleum. Other options are to drive as far as you feel comfortable and find a place to park so you can Uber there & back. Marta is available if you don’t mind walking a few blocks. Go to King’s Memorial Station at 377 Decatur St SE, Atlanta, GA 30312 and google walking directions to Oakland Cemetery. For our guests from out of town: There are many 4 & 5 star hotels within a couple of miles of Oakland Cemetery. We would not recommend staying in a 3 star in that area. Kaitlyn will be getting ready at our house so unfortunately, we cannot have overnight guests. A golf cart & driver can take anyone who would like it straight to the ceremony site from the Oakland Cemetery gate.
