Maid of Honor
Megan has been my go-to when I have a bad day or gossip or good news for as long as I can remember. She never fails to call me out on my crap or encourage me to go for gold. I love her to pieces, and I can't imagine walking down the aisle without her by my side!
Best Man
I met Jake my sophomore year of college through Air Force ROTC. We began to grow close over the spring semester when we were preparing to go to Field Training. Some of my favorite memories with Jake include sitting in our dorm with Doug Turner, one of the groomsmen, and preparing for the next training day. Jake and I eventually moved in together into what was known as the Wild Western House because it was on Western Rd and was a “Heritage House” within our detachment. Jake and I grew close over the next two years and I can’t wait to have him stand next to me on the big day.
Maid of Honor
Of course I couldn't choose between my sisters, so they're both my maids of honor. Bailey has always been my rock when things go crazy. Going to college together made our bond that much stronger. I can't imagine getting to marry the love of my life without my sister by my side!
Groomsman
I have known Wilbert since my freshman year of college and met him through the ROTC program. Wilbert was also an RA on the floor above mine in my first dorm, so we hung out a lot during that year and got to know each other. It was an awesome experience getting to go through the ROTC program start to finish together and be someone to lean on when we needed it. Now, Wilbert and I will both be reporting to Vance, AFB in Enid, OK for Air Force Undergraduate Pilot Training!
Bridesmaid
Syd was my very first nursing school friend, and has become like family to me over the past two years. We've spent countless hours and days together, mostly laughing uncontrollably. I can't imagine walking down the aisle without this sweet girl!
Groomsman
I met Doug my freshman year of college when we were suitemates in our first dorm. Doug lived in the room next to me and during our first year, it became obvious that we would be spending a lot of time together since we were both in an ROTC program and had similar goes. After our first year, we became roommates our second year on campus, which is when Doug and I became best friends. We had a lot of similar interests and were each others shoulder to lean on when we needed it. Super early mornings sophomore year lead to a lot of great memories that both of us joke about to this day. Doug is one of the best guys I know, and I can't be more excited for him to be a part of our wedding!
Bridesmaid
Kenz and I were neighbors and went through nursing school together for two years. We got engaged a few months apart and have been each other's sounding board for a ton of wedding planning ideas. It was such an easy choice to include this sweet girl in my wedding party!
Groomsman
Chase and I met in high school as we were both apart of the JROTC program at Northern. We grew close because we both knew Ricardo and had similar interests. These similar interests brought us together throughout our college years as we pursued similar degrees and would often talk about what we were studying or real-world applications. Chase, Ricardo, and I became really good friends and developed an amazing friend group that only grew closer as time went on.
Bridesmaid
Hannah, Jeffery's younger sister, has become so dear to me over the past five years. She was always there for me when I was missing Jeffery our first year of long distance dating, and I couldn't imagine marrying him without her by my side!
Groomsman
The best way to describe Brice is like the little brother I never had. We lived right across the street from each other in Maryland and hung out virtually every day of high school. Brice and I both played baseball, so almost every day after school we would toss our bags in the house and throw a baseball around for a couple hours. Brice and I both realized that we won't be playing in the Major Leagues anytime soon, so we hung up the cleats and picked up golf clubs. Brice is like family to me and I can't wait to have him by my side on the big day!
Bridesmaid
Eva and I met in second grade and stayed friends long enough to be roommates freshman year of college. As little girls, we always dreamed we would be in each others' weddings, and I couldn't imagine walking down the aisle without my childhood best friend by my side!
Groomsman
I met Ricardo through Boy Scouts when he moved to Maryland and have been great friends ever since. We hung out with the same people in high school and got to know each other through JROTC, Cross Country, and Scouting. Whether it was backpacking in Virginia or going to cross country practice every day after high school, Ricardo and I had a lot of shared interests. After high school, Ricardo and I continued to stay connected as we both pursued Air Force aviation careers, and always made it a priority to hang out on breaks when we were both back home!
Officiants
David and Lindsay have been role models to us in both early and recent phases of our relationship. We so admire their love for each other and their ability to juggle life with four kids. It was so important to us to include them in a meaningful way when we were planning the wedding. We can't imagine a better way to start our marriage than having Lindsay and David pass on just a little bit of their wisdom to us as our officiants!
