They met while working together at QuickTrip and didn't exactly hit it off at first. Jared had just transferred to the location Kaitlyn was at and she wasn't too eager to welcome someone new, and Jared was just trying to find his footing at a new store. But before long, they started talking more, getting to know each other and growing closer each day.

We went to see the Wonka movie for our first date. We were both a little awkward and nervous being alone together outside of work for the first time. But somewhere between the nerves and the movie, something clicked! And that was the beginning of something truly Special.

One of the most awesome milestones in our journey was moving in together and becoming homeowners in Rhome, TX. --They are learning what home ownership truly involves: nothing fixes itself, You Tub videos is Jared's go to guide and hardware store runs have become their new version of date night. Kaitlyn gets to explore her true passion for cleaning and decorating and Jared has learned how to cook the perfect STEAK! They are loving building this life together!

Kaitlyn and Jared share more than just a love story--they also share the exact same birthday: April 10th just 5 years apart! And that's only one of many fun similarities that have everyone saying, hmmm... maybe this was meant to be all along.
