Kaitlyn and Jake met back in 2018 while both working on the Point Ruston waterfront in Tacoma, WA. One day, Jake went into the coffee shop where Kaitlyn worked with some co-workers. Although the interaction was relatively short and sweet, Kaitlyn was smitten from the minute they met. But she wasn't the only one, as Jake became one of Kaitlyn's new regulars after that first interaction. You can say he was hooked and not on the coffee! Jake and Kaitlyn grew their lives together over the next four years, moving in together after just three months. After seven months, their family grew with the addition of their precious fur babies, Kobee & Blu. Jake proposed to Kaitlyn while on a trip to Rome, Italy, where he got on one knee at the zoo in front of the otter enclosure (Kaitlyn's favorite animal). He asked Kaitlyn to be his "otter-half." How could she not say yes to that!? We can't wait to celebrate our union with all of you in October!
