Harley and I's friendship started in the most unlikely of places, we were working at a residential mental health facility in August of 2021. One night, some of my coworkers asked me if I wanted to go with them to Taco Bell at one in the morning which was a tradition for them on especially hard nights and that is where I met Harley. He was sitting on top of his little white low rider chevy truck just looking at the sky. He was having a rough time because his Mamaw had just been hospitalized and we sat and talked about life for a long time. After a few months of friendship, he started asking me on dates and for awhile the answer was always no but he was persistent. He said I couldn't move away because I was already in love with him and I thought he was nuts. A few weeks later I agreed to our first date, dinner and a movie, and it just felt so natural that I thought "this feels like the rest of my life". Since then we have been on so many adventures together, the most recent being parenthood. I could not be more grateful to have this man as not only my best friend but the father to our sweet girl Caroline. We are so excited for our wedding and to get to share the memory with all of you.
