Should you fly into the Phoenix airport?

Answer

We would say, No. We strongly recommend flying straight into Tucson (TUS). Phoenix is 2 hrs away from Tucson. We have found that after a busy day of flying, it pretty much sucks to then travel 2 more hours via car. Unless you are seeing family or are desperate to see Phoenix, we do not recommend.

Should you fly into the Mesa Airport?

Mesa is also 2 hours away from Tucson. Please refer to the answer above.

What side of town is this event located?

Answer

Great question! Tucson is large & wide with no highway that goes through it. If you’re on the other side of town, it may be hard to trek across if you’re in a time crunch. 😉 Stick to the EAST side of town. See where the Park Place Mall is? That’s as far west as you’d want to go.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Ceremony starts at 5:00pm Let’s pretend that it starts at 4:45pm for good measure😘
