Make sure to download the WienMobil app before your trip. This app easily lets you buy digital tickets on your mobile. Otherwise, you can buy physical tickets at ticket machines located at each subway station. Uber is also available in Vienna as well as taxis. Outside of Vienna, Uber is not common.
