FAQs

The Wedding Website of Kaitlyn Martin and Dillon Bout
Question

Do you have a recommended dress code & color scheme for the guest?

Answer

We kindly request all our guests to dress in formal attire and embrace a palette of soft, pastel colors to complement the beauty of our celebration. Think delicate hues of green, pink, yellow, orange, purple, and more. For the ladies, elegant cocktail dresses or formal gowns in these pastel shades would be perfect. For the gentlemen, we encourage suits or formal attire with touches of pastels. Thank you for adding a touch of color and style to our special day! We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Are kids welcome at the wedding & reception?

Answer

Unfortunately we will not have room for kids at our wedding/ reception. Feel free to bring them on your trip & make the most of your vacation. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

Is there another hotel option for the stay in Phuket outside of the wedding venue hotel?

Answer

Yes, refer to the travel page for hotel accommodations where we have given a couple options in the area with different budgets in mind. **Some of the hotels are not available yet for booking our dates; we will keep updating our wedding website with travel information.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The official wedding ceremony is scheduled to start at 5:30pm. However, starting at 4:30pm our guest can attend early for a welcome drink & mingling. We recommend that guests arrive 15 minutes or so before the official ceremony start time so they can get settled before the proceedings if you choose not to attend our pre event.

Question

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will take place outdoors on a beautiful rooftop with a stunning view. We will provide sun shade umbrellas if needed to keep everyone comfortable. The reception will be a blend of both indoor and outdoor settings, with access to a private deck where you can enjoy the fresh air and gorgeous scenery.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Thailand is known for its warm, tropical climate, similar to Florida. Expect plenty of sunshine, but there can also be the occasional rain shower. Since we can't predict the weather, we’ll provide umbrellas to keep you comfortable, whether it’s rain or shine.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

As we are asking you to go across the world for our wedding, and a vacation of a lifetime, we will not have a registry. "Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience."

Question

Will there be any other events to attend during the wedding weekend?

Answer

We are still working out the final details, but here’s a glimpse of what we have in mind so far: A day island hopping on a boat, where everyone can enjoy the sun, swimming, delicious food, drinks, and music! A welcome cocktail party the night before the wedding to kick off the celebration.
