Do I need a passport to travel to Ireland?

Answer

Yes. You must have a passport. It can take several months to get approved. Start the process sooner rather than later. You can find the application here: https://www.usa.gov/passport

Do I need a visa to travel to Ireland?

Answer

No. As of this moment you do not need a visa to travel to Ireland on a tourist visa. If you travel through the UK you will need a Electronic Travel Authorization even if only passing through the airport.

When is the RSVP deadine?

Answer

The deadline to RSVP will be February 1st. * We need to know yes or no by this date. We have a strict headcount that the castle can accommodate. If I do not hear from you by February 1st I will assume it is a no.

What is the dress code?

The dress code will be semi formal. It will all be indoors.

How will I get to and from the wedding venue?

Please arrange your own transportation to and from the wedding venue. Cars and flights can be bundled together to save money. https://www.expedia.com

Children will be allowed on a case by case basis. Please speak to Kate or Dan to arrange.

Please see invitation. Limited seating is available. We've tried to accommodate as many plus ones as possible.

Yes. There is parking available at the hotel for those who have a rental cars.

I understand this might put a dent in your budget. If you cannot afford to travel please do not feel pressured to do so. There will be a zoom link available so you can still be apart of our special day.

Do I still need to give a gift if I paid to travel to the wedding?

No! Your presence is gift enough.

What is the weather like in Ireland this time of year?

You can typically expect a day in the high 60s to low 70s. It is typically overcast and sometimes rainy. Cross your fingers for sunny days!

Can I take photos or video during the ceremony?

We have paid for a photographer and videographer to document the day so you can be present with us and enjoy the moment.
