Chase and I have always shared a love for hiking, a passion we’ve cherished since we started dating back in 2021. After having Ariella, we took a break for a while. This last December, we decided it was time to hit the trails again, and what better place than Enchanted Rock in Fredericksburg, Texas? It was the perfect setting for our weekend getaway during the magical Christmas season. We spent the weekend exploring the town, enjoying the festive atmosphere, and soaking in some much-needed quality time. But the highlight of our trip was the hike up Enchanted Rock. Determined to make it to the summit, we tackled the steepest, most challenging path, braving the bitter cold and strong winds that day. As we finally reached the top, the breathtaking views were worth every step. In that serene moment, Chase suddenly dropped to one knee. In the icy winds, his hands were as steady as they could be, but I could see the excitement in his eyes. He asked me to marry him, and I froze, completely taken aback. It was a beautiful surprise, and after a moment of shock, I absolutely said yes! That day on Enchanted Rock, with the wind swirling around us and the expansive Texas landscape stretching out below, our journey took a new and exciting turn. We couldn’t be happier to share this special memory with all of you.
