Question

Where do you recommend eating for those coming in Friday night?

Answer

There is so much going on this weekend, and plenty to eat and do! Friday night, there will be "Live on the Levee," where the Kanawha Boulevard will be closed off and food trucks and music will be out for your listening and eating pleasure! Also, along Capitol Street, Spruce Street, and Slack Street, (and throughout a large part of the Downtown area) there are many great restaurants and nightlife for you to enjoy and explore! Some great places are: Fife Street Brewery, Hale House, Ellen's Ice Cream, Pies and Pints, the Recovery Grill, and Aldephia's! The hotel recommendations provided are within less than 2 miles of all of these wonderful places and events!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that you take this opportunity to have fun and dress up! We recommend dresses for women and a nice shirt, pants, and tie for men. This is a religious ceremony, so please be mindful of modesty. Thank you!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, Kids are welcome!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Yes, you can bring a spouse, long-term partner, or children. If your guest does not fall under one of these categories, we'd respectfully ask if you attend solo and take the chance to catch up with family, friends. and the newly weds! If you are planning on bringing a guest that is not already on the invitation, please inform us on the RSVP card.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no earlier than 30 minutes prior and no later than 5 minutes prior! We would truly appreciate if no one arrived late as this is a religious event and late arrivals may disrupt the ceremony. Please plan to arrive early so that you can park, pick a seat, and relax before our exciting day of celebration!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We would kindly ask that you refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony. There will be a photographer and videographer present, to take the worry of taking photos off of everyone and plenty of opportunity for pictures at the reception and after the ceremony. Please, just be present in the very moment of the sacramental union of Chase and Kaitlyn!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking will be available at the Church and school lots located around the event buildings.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We have not provided transportation, but there are plenty of free parking lots available on site of the church and high school.
