Question

How should I dress?How should I dress?

Answer

The attire is cocktail or semi-formal. Absolutely no white; try to stick to fall colors. Please avoid hunter green and burgundy. We understand this can be limiting, so feel free to text Kaitlyn (816-349-5947) with any questions or pictures of the attire. Short sleeve button ups and polos are fine.

Answer

Only children 11 and older are invited. On your invitations, we have written out the names of all people invited. If you believe we have forgotten someone, feel free to reach out. If you believe your child will be bored, we encourage you leave them home as this is primarily an adult event.

Plus ones are limited due to restrictions in our guest count. Those in long term relationships have been given a plus one specifically for their partner. Feel free to reach out about a plus one, but we make no guarentees as we need to keep the guest list to a strict number.

Answer

A catered dinner will be provided, buffet style. There are three different entree options, however none are vegetarian/vegan. If this is a concern, there will be sides you can eat. Due to a very limited amout of people having dietary restrictions, we have not explictly accomodated for them.

Answer

There will be an open bar at the reception, and a cocktail hour after the ceremony. According to the venue's rules, all outside alcohol has been banned. Anyone caught bringing in alcohol risks being escorted out by security. This is not a rule we would like to enforce, but it is required by the venue. Additionally, please do not pregame our wedding.

Our wedding will take place in a greenhouse. It will be temperature controlled depending on the weather, but may run on the warmer side. There will be an outdoor cocktail hour following the ceremony if weather permits, but you do not have to worry about stepping on grass.
