Our story started in a way neither of us expected. Kaitlyn was living in sunny South Florida, Carson was all the way in Vancouver Island, and we had no real reason to ever end up in each other’s worlds. But somehow, we did. What began as a small connection—two friends who met online—turned into something that felt so familiar, even from thousands of miles away. We learned each other’s routines, cheered each other on from different time zones, and built a loving relationship that made distance feel like just another detail, not a deal breaker. Eventually, one flight led to another, visits turned into real plans, and “coast to coast” slowly became our normal. It wasn’t always easy, but it was always worth it. And now, standing on the same side of the map, we get to celebrate how far we’ve come. As we plan our wedding, our day is a tribute to South Florida sunshine and Vancouver Island forest air, to our families, our journeys, and the new life we’re creating together. One that honors where we come from and embraces everything we’re becoming. We cannot wait to celebrate the start of our forever and hope you can make it to our wedding celebration!
