We’re getting married!

Cameron and Kaitlyn met in 2020, shortly after Cameron moved to Houghton Lake for work. Kaitlyn lived in Higgins Lake, only a short 15 minute drive away. Kaitlyn always wanted a little dog she could fit in her purse. When Kaitlyn met Cameron, who had sweet little Michael (🐶), she knew they were the ones. Cameron and Kaitlyn spent many months as just friends, getting to know one another, and casually hanging out. Cameron would let Kaitlyn take Michael for weekend “custodies.” Kaitlyn even brought Michael back home one day with paint all over his face and paws. Cameron figured if Michael was helping Kaitlyn paint her house, he better get over and help too, so thats just what he did. Shortly after, Cameron took Kaitlyn to a retro style movie theatre for their first date, to see the movie ‘Toy Story’ (Kaitlyn had never seen it, crazy to believe right?!?). They spent most of their days and nights together after that. Cameron would drive Kaitlyn to work early in the mornings during winter storms that come with living in Northern Michigan. His kindness made Kaitlyn easily fall in love with him. Cameron popped the big question in August of 2021, and of course Kaitlyn said yes. They share a home together in Higgins Lake, where they spend their free time binge watching Survivor or enjoying the beautiful lake. They are so excited to spend one of the best days of their lives with all of their friends and family that they hold so close to their hearts.
