Perfectly Timed

Thirteen years ago, Kaitlyn wouldn't have believed it if someone had told her the shy new boy walking through the doors of Newberry Community Church that Easter Sunday morning would one day become her best friend and ask her to marry him. God has a way of working through the most unlikely circumstances to write the most beautiful stories, and that is just what He has done here. It all began on August 26th, 2023 when Bradley (now living in Oregon) wished Kaitlyn (living in California) a happy birthday over Instagram sparking light conversation. After exchanging a handful of IG messages, Kaitlyn politely ended the conversation without thinking things would ever go further. The two reconnected when Bradley traveled to Newberry for Thanksgiving and both went off-roading with a group of friends. They stayed in touch until Christmas and officially began dating on December twenty-fourth. Thus began a series of joys and challenges typical of a long distance relationship. Visits every eight to ten weeks were much anticipated. Phone calls were frequent, and texts were happily welcomed. The deep friendship that blossomed seemed to be perfectly timed; a story that could only be written by God. Finally, on Dec. 22nd, a year after their first date. Bradley asked Kaitlyn to be his wife, and she happily said yes. They will finally say "I do" to forever on October 18, 2025. Dear family and friends, Thank you for being here and celebrating this new chapter with us. As we begin our lives together in a world that is hostile toward God's plan for marriage and the family, we both covet your prayers. Much Love, Kaitlyn and Bradley Psalm 127: 1a "Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain."
