Maid of Honor
Jaylene and Kaitlyn met at a 70s photoshoot. A few days later they realized they had no friends and decided to go to an outdoor showing of Mean Girls. Fun summers were had, and trips were made. From there the rest is history!
Best Man
Kevin and Austin grew up a block away from each other and would hang out constantly with the preferred mode of transportation being the scooter between the two houses. While they were rarely in the same classes, they went to the same Elementary, Middle and High School together and were on the same basketball and track teams in middle and high school. A fond memory for the both of them will be the annual summer tradition of the Crowe Open wiffle ball golf tournament in Kevin's backyard where he would consistently lose to Austin.
Bridesmaid
Forced sisterhood, is there a better reason?
Groomsman
Hutson and Austin met freshman year of college at IUP as members of the cross country team. They developed a fierce rivalry with both of them wanting to be the best freshman on the team and eventually became friends. They decided to live together sophomore year, increasing the friendship further with their common opposition of the rules of house dad Andrew Morgan. Hutson transferred after sophomore year to run at the Division 1 level while never beating Austin's cross country best times. Hutson and Austin stayed close and Hutson eventually moved to Tennessee with Austin and was there for the beginning of Kaitlyn and Austin's relationship.
Bridesmaid
Emily and Kaitlyn were coworkers that had worked together for a year but barely talked to each other. That all changed when they never got asked to lunch by coworkers, so they went to lunch together. Now they are ramen gals for life.
Groomsman
Another IUP runner, Dylan and Austin met in college second semester of freshman year after Dylan finished serving our country in basic training. With a shared common goal of track and field dominance, Dylan and Austin trained and shared sodas together throughout college and lived together senior year. Dylan briefly lived with Kaitlyn and Austin in Colorado shortly before pursuing his acting career.
Bridesmaid
Kaitlyn and Jordan met from their significant others working together and playing in the city rec leagues. It took one dinner at a Mexican restaurant for them to become close friends. Great memories were made like tubing down a river and forgetting our car keys, group canoe trips, and being a part of Jordan and Cody's wedding! We are so excited they can be apart of our day as well :)
Groomsman
Cody and Austin met in Tennessee by sheer cosmic persistence. With them both being city employees, they were in the same bowling and softball leagues and were in a soccer league together as well. After Cody was forced to switch teams in the parks and rec vs city hall softball game, since city hall didn't have enough players, Cody and Austin started discussing how much they had in common and eventually joined the same soccer team and Cody and his wife Jordan eventually became Kaitlyn and Austin's first couple friends.
Bridesmaid
Almost Sister-in-Law, (technically forced as well).
Groomsman
Amir and Austin also met on the IUP cross country team. They quickly got along as middle distance runners who rooted for Philadelphia sports teams. Whenever there was a break in school, they would train together in Philadelphia on Forbidden Drive. Austin always makes time to see Amir when he is back in PA.
Bridesmaid
Kaitlyn and Krystal met through Bumble BFF because they had no Colorado friends. Their first outing was at a pizza place with their guys to make sure we didn't get kidnapped (Kidding, they're friends now too). From there they became each others Colorado support system <3
Groomsman
Yet another IUP cross country athlete. Austin met Dalton their first week at IUP when Austin was out of shape and afraid of getting cut. Dalton was not concerned about Austin's running abilities, only that he would go to the court with him to play basketball. To this day they are good friends who argue about sports, drinking games and anything else imaginable.
Bridesmaid
Another situation of forced sisterhood, with love.
