So I think everyone knows that I am not originally from North Carolina, I’m from the Syracuse, NY area. I didn’t really know a whole lot of people from the area so when I saw a job open up for a new brewery in China Grove I went in for an interview! I ended up getting the job and the first week we were open I met Andrew! He came in with a bunch of his friends, came up to get a drink and started talking to me and he got my number! We had our first date at Grove Cartel a week after and have been together ever since. I’m sure he never thought he would end up with a yankee but here we are 🤪 We are both goofballs and always have the most fun together no matter what we are doing! I had always wanted someone I could bring back to my hometown and when September came and we were going back to NY I was so beyond excited to show Andrew! I showed him where I grew up, introduced him to my childhood friends, and took him to all of my favorite places across the state! When we went to Old Forge, a small town in the Adirondack Mountains (my favorite place in the world), we went on a hike! We were taking pictures at the top when Andrew asked me to marry him. It was the best day of my life! Since then we have been planning our wedding and decided on the date of August 31st, 2024! We are so excited to share our lives together ❤️
