Shuttle

Shuttle from Hampton Inn in Fairhaven to Venue

August 9, 2025 2:00 pm - 12:00 am

We will have a shuttle from 2pm that will bring you to the venue. It will drop you off at the venue and will bring you back to the hotel in the evening after the party. It will be running throughout the evening and will also be used to shuttle people to and from the cars in the parking lot at the end of the driveway for those who are driving themselves.

Hampton Inn New Bedford/Fairhaven

This is one of the closest hotels to the US wedding. It is centrally located between Cape Cod, Boston, and Providence, allowing you to take off and go wherever you want after the party! Flight

Boston Logan International Airport

When flying, we recommend flying into Boston instead of Providence as it is usually significantly cheaper! If flying in, we recommend that you rent a car so you can truly experience the area during your visit. If you opt not to rent a car, you may be able to utilize the train from the airport but you will need to rely on Uber, Lyft, or another taxi service to reach the venue as there is no public transportation. Car rentals can be done right at the airport and are cheapest if booked ahead of time!

Flight

Sola International Airport

Sola airport, nearby Stavanger Sentrum, is one of the recommended airports to travel in and out of, as it is close to the city so while it is not in the same city as the celebration, you will be able to stay in the city and explore during your stay. If you're staying in Norway for a little longer, we highly recommend that you fly into Sola and spend time in Stavanger Sentrum as it is one of the bigger cities in Norway. We will arrange transport from the city to the venue - it is about a 2.5 hour drive. You could also fly into the Haugesund airport, which is closer to the celebration venue, however, it is going to be more expensive as it is a smaller local airport. While the airport is closer to the venue, there is not as much to see and explore in this area without a car.

This hotel is close to where we will be having our celebration and is right near the water. This hotel is small and the summers can get busy in Skudenes, so we recommend booking ahead of time. If you need help booking, please reach out to us and we can help get everything set up for you!

Travel Note

Travel between Stavanger and Skudeneshavn

We will arrange for a bus to bring people traveling into Stavanger. The bus will take us from Stavanger to Skudeneshavn Thursday morning and will return to Stavanger Sunday. Please let us know if you want to join us on the bus :)
