When and where is the wedding?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will take place at Chapel of Saint Joseph on Saint Joseph's University campus at 2:00pm. The wedding reception will take place at The Philadelphia Cricket Club beginning at 5:00pm.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend guests arrive at least 15 minutes before the official start time.

Where can I park upon arrival?

Answer

Ceremony at Chapel of Saint Joseph- The closest parking options are the available spaces of the Sourin Lot off Cardinal Avenue and street parking on Cardinal Avenue, Wynnefield Avenue, and the surrounding streets. There is also parking available at Mandeville Hall and Merion Hall which are about a 5 minute walk to the Chapel. The Philadelphia Cricket Club Reception- On-site valet parking is available at The Philadelphia Cricket Club. You can also self park in the parking lot. There are reserved spaces for the wedding so there will be available parking.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Hotel information is listed on the Travel tab of our wedding website. We have room blocks at The Chestnut Hill Hotel and The Lodge at Union League Liberty Hill for Friday- 9/26 and Saturday- 9/27.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be transportation provided to the reception at The Philadelphia Cricket Club. The transportation will be available from The Chestnut Hill Hotel or The Lodge at Liberty Hill. Transportation details are included on the Travel tab of our website. There will not be transportation provided to the church ceremony at The Chapel of Saint Joseph.

Please respond by the date listed as the RSVP deadline on the invitation.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the dress code is black-tie optional. We suggest that men wear a tuxedo or a suit and tie and women wear an evening gown or midi or knee-length cocktail dress.

How far is the church from the reception venue?

Answer

It is about a 20 minute drive from the church to the Philadelphia Cricket Club (without traffic). Please account for 25-30 minutes travel time.
