The bride's best friend and older sister We met when I was very young. Courtney has taught me many valuable lessons over the years, like how to play make-believe and how to be a good sister. I'm lucky she was born first, as she guides me through any challenge using her own experiences. We have been side-by-side since the very beginning, watching each other grow and fall in love. While we have both found new partners to keep growing with, I know I can always rely on my sister.

The bride's wife- I mean, a close friend I've made over the last few years Caroline came into my life when she began dating Jon Ruprecht. Around that time I was coming out of my college-induced isolation. Her outgoing and sunshiney energy made becoming friends feel like the most natural thing in the world. I love her so much and she loves me and she's just so pretty and sweet and - ahem. I'm lucky to call her my friend :)

Sister of the groom and the bride's second-in-command on the high school drumline I really started getting to know Mik in high school after AJ and I started dating. She is a percussionist like AJ and I, so the three of us were all on the drumline together at one point. After AJ graduated, I knew I could trust her to have my back and shred on the tenors. Mikhalla is insanely beautiful and talented and I could not be more excited for her to be my sister!

Dear friend of the bride and groom I met Quinn when they started dating Javonn Hensel. Shortly after, a tabletop game of Dungeons and Dragons began, which turned out to be the perfect icebreaker. Now I can't imagine my life without Quinn. Their fortitude and humor in the face of adversity inspires me daily. Our Dnd campaign is going on year 4 now and yes, our characters are besties too (;
Javonn Hensel

The Groom's brother-from-another-mother Javonn and I have lived together for about seven years and have known each other for more than twice that much. Zach Hess, our mutual best-friend, introduced us when we were kids, and ever since we have been bonded like brothers. Javonn is intelligent and creative, and his skill as a gamer have pushed me to better myself in the fields I'm passionate about. Our Smash Ultimate rivalry will always be legendary!

Best-friend of the groom Zach Hess has been my friend since I moved into his neighborhood in 2009. We spent a lot of time together as kids, both holding a passion for video games and basketball, and the only thing that has changed over time is neither of us play basketball anymore. Zach is a gentle and kind soul, and holds a lot of compassion in his heart and wisdom in his mind. Javonn, Zach, and I have all shared many laughs over the years, and I look forward to many more in the years to come.

Dear friend of the groom I've known Travis for years and we became closer after we began working together. He is someone I can always count on and has shared invaluable insights with me over the years. He is known for subtly becoming the life of the party as the night wears on and is a killer strategist with table-top games. I can't wait to have more game nights in the future!!!
Jon 'Roopy' Ruprecht

Work-wife of the groom Roopy and I grew close the same way as Travis - by dragging him into my place of work. Since then, he's proven to be the hardest working guy I know. Roopy has infectious energy and humor and is unendingly loyal to his friends. Between suffering through extended work hours, to finishing my DnD one-shots that take just as long, Roopy is a friend I'm grateful to have by my side.

Close friend and Dungeon Master of the bride and groom Julian began dating Courtney Boembeke in 2022 and quickly became a brother to Aj and I. He is effortlessly funny, kind, and the most incredible storyteller we have ever met. We are so lucky to have him as our DnD dungeon master. Jules is a rare and special type of person who spreads nothing but joy in the lives of those around him. AJ and I are so grateful that he offered to lead our special day.
