How Kaitlyn and Adam met is the most modern fairytale one would ever hear. It all started when Kaitlyn and Adam had signed separate leases to live on the fourth floor in the same building at Arcadia Run and lived on adjacent ends of the hallway. Adam's father, Greg, was over frequently and every time Greg saw Kaitlyn walking her dog, Bug, he would strike up conversation while Adam quickly rushed back to his apartment. Although they lived in close proximity, Kaitlyn and Adam would continue to remain as "that neighbor down the hall." One fateful Wednesday would change everything. Wednesday's are special days for Arcadia Run as that day is coined Wine Wednesdays. This is a day of the week where neighbors get together at the clubhouse and socialize and meet one another. On a warm, October Wednesday, Adam and Greg were working out at the community's fitness center. Kaitlyn and her neighbors went to the clubhouse for the typical Wine Wednesday gathering. Greg saw the group of people going to the clubhouse after regular hours and asked Adam what was happening. Adam told him it was just a social gathering and continued to work out, implying he wasn't the least bit interested in partaking. Greg's curiosity got the best of him and he decided to wander into the clubhouse and began mingling with everyone. Adam found himself at the clubhouse looking for his father. Adam found Greg and it was at this moment, Kaitlyn and Adam's life would be changed. Greg introduced Adam to Kaitlyn and they have been inseparable ever since. The meeting at Wine Wednesday would become the start of their lives together.

It was a warm June 29th, 2020. We had been almost half a year into this pandemic and things did not look like it was getting better. Kaitlyn was working from home and Adam had been working hard in the shop. Kaitlyn tried reaching Adam all day to make plans for a really nice dinner, but when he would respond, he was very cryptic or short answered. This wasn't unusual because it was quite typical for him to answer this way. When Adam returned home from work, Kaitlyn wanted to make sure to greet him with a nice cold glass of prosecco. Minutes go by and Adam hadn't come in from his car yet. He finally came in, but was acting extremely strange. He was in and out of the bathroom like nobody's business. He then sprinted to his car to grab something. Kaitlyn had prepared a nice dinner and was excited to talk to Adam about his day, but he was being very short. Kaitlyn was beginning to get aggravated with Adam. Just when Kaitlyn didn't think it could get worse, Adam decided to run over to the neighbor's house and chat. Eventually he came back and continued eating dinner. Adam could see how irritated Kaitlyn was, so he went over to hug her. To put the cherry on top, Adam told her to "calm down". Once he know Kaitlyn was done with everything, Adam got down on one knee, right in the middle of the kitchen, and popped the question, "Will you marry me?". The rest is history.
