Kaitlyn and Aaron’s love story began in 2005, when they shared a second-grade classroom and a childhood crush that neither of them knew would resurface years later. Their paths continued to cross—from running track together in middle school to sharing gym class freshman year. In March of 2013, Aaron asked Kaitlyn to be his girlfriend, and from that moment on, the two were inseparable throughout high school. College brought new adventures and different directions. Kaitlyn attended Bloomsburg, while Aaron went to IUP before eventually moving to Florida to continue his education and begin building his business. At just 19 years old, distance made things complicated, and the couple went their separate ways, believing their chapter had come to an end. But as they say, what is meant to be will always find its way. Kaitlyn and Aaron found their way back to one another, reconnecting while living in different states and making many trips back and forth during Kaitlyn’s time in graduate school. That distance finally closed when Kaitlyn moved to Florida in the summer of 2024. Distance was no match for them this time.
