We're getting married!

Two ridiculously cute babies were born and embarked on their journey to find each other.

Kaitlyn and Aaron's paths crossed for the first time in August of 2018 when they both happened to be using the same app (cough cough, Hinge*). Things ended before they could even begin when one of them, who shall remain unnamed, decided to really embrace the generation's dating culture by "ghosting"** the other, which would push out this timeline by a smidge. *Hinge: The dating app that was designed to be deleted—and also designed with a Nobel-Prize-winning algorithm ;) **Ghosting: Abruptly cutting off contact with someone without giving that person any warning or explanation for doing so.

This love could not be kept at bay because one year later Kaitlyn and Aaron's paths would cross once again on the aforementioned app (I guess it's true what they say, "love comes when you're not looking for it." WINK WINK), but this time they gave themselves a fair shot and actually met in person. On their first date, Kaitlyn decided to test the waters immediately and told Aaron, "I'm not into small talk" to which Aaron replied, "Let's go deep then." The two proceeded to share their life stories, found they had much in common, and knew instantly that there would be a second date.

Aaron proceeded to woo Kaitlyn and they were both surprised at how quickly they found comfort and love with each other. Aaron proposed to Kaitlyn on May 15, 2021 following a beautiful day of some of their favorite things: brunch, a hike, and Special C's on the beach. Needless to say, Kaitlyn said an enthusiastic "YES!" and the rest (as they say) is history <3
