We’re Getting Married!

It all began on New Year’s Eve 2016, as the clock ticked toward 2017. Amid the sparkle and celebration, Kaitlyn spotted Nick across the room and whispered to a friend, “He’s cute.” That simple comment set everything in motion. With a little matchmaking magic from two enthusiastic friends, Kaitlyn and Nick exchanged Snapchats and from that night on, they were inseparable. Hours of late-night conversations turned into a deep connection, and before long, Nick asked Kaitlyn out on their very first date. Fast forward eight wonderful years, filled with laughter, love, and countless memories and now, we’re thrilled to be engaged and counting down the days until we say “I do.”

In the heart of Rome, just before sunrise, Nick’s sister Julia and family friend Alessandra persuaded Kaitlyn to wake up early for a spontaneous photo shoot at one of the city’s most iconic landmarks the Trevi Fountain. The streets were quiet, the sky still painted in soft morning hues, and the fountain shimmered in the peaceful glow of dawn. With hardly anyone around, they found the perfect front row spot. When it was Kaitlyn’s turn to pose, Julia and Alessandra playfully asked her to close her eyes and toss a coin into the fountain an age-old tradition for good luck and a wish to return to Rome. As the coin splashed into the water and Kaitlyn opened her eyes, she found Nick standing before her. He kissed her gently, then dropped to one knee and asked the question that would change their lives forever: to marry him and spend a lifetime together. It was a moment filled with joy, tears, and pure magic one they’ll cherish forever.
