Helen Oktoberfest
Helen is an adorable little old German town that hosts Oktoberfest each year from September through October. There's tons a shops, food, drinks, music, Dirndls and lederhosen's.
Dahlonega Gold Rush
Dahlonega is a small 19th century public square full of bed and breakfasts, tasting rooms, restaurants, and is the site of the nation's first major gold rush in 1829. Every third weekend in October, the town celebrates with Gold Rush Days Festival.

Hiking
