COVID & FAQs

The Wedding Website of Kaitlyn Pepe and Jackson Hill
UPDATE: We are working with a local company to have on-site rapid testing for Friday and Saturday. More details to come. In order to ensure the safety of our guests, vendors, and the Arnold House staff, we must insist that we all take certain steps to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission. We understand that some of our guests may be apprehensive about attending a large gathering right now, and we understand.  We know that news is changing everyday, so please check back often for the latest information. If anyone feels uncomfortable adhering to these requirements, we would kindly ask that you not attend. If we discover that anyone has not adhered to these requirements leading up to the wedding, we will be forced to deny entry to those guests. Finally, if you have any questions or would like more information, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
Question

Will you have rapid testing at the Arnold House?

Answer

Yes! We will have testing on-site in the Arnold House greenhouse Friday (3-6pm) and Saturday (4-5pm). You will only need to be tested once during the weekend. If you arrive Friday, please get tested Friday. If you arrive Saturday, please plan to get tested Saturday. We will send out via email or text (and post a link here) where you can sign up for a time slot. If you are two weeks out from your last vaccination, you do not need to get tested. If you are within the final two weeks from your last shot, you WILL need to get tested.

Question

Will I have to be tested prior to the event?

Answer

Yes. We ask all guests take a PCR COVID-19 test within 5 days of your arrival to Livingston Manor. In addition to the PCR test, we will also have rapid testing on-site. You do not need to take a PCR test if you have gotten vaccinated. You will need to take a rapid test if you are within two weeks from your last vaccination shot. If your test is positive or you've been in contact with someone who has been positive in the last 14 days, we ask that you please stay home and take care of yourselves. Please avoid any unnecessary contact outside of your household after taking your PCR COVID-19 test. This includes indoor dining, indoor bars, and indoor gym activity (just to name a few).

Question

Will masks and social distancing be required?

Answer

Yes. We ask that everyone wear a mask and social distance for the duration of the wedding. All events will be spaced out to allow for adequate social distancing.

Question

Will PPE be provided during the wedding and weekend events?

Answer

Masks and hand sanitizers will be readily available to guests upon arrival. In case, however, please arrive with your own masks as you greet friends and family.

Question

What's the layout of the reception?

Answer

If you're curious about the barn area where the reception will take place, please take a look at the Arnold House website. They have a video tour of the property. The tour of the barn and surrounding areas is around the 1:40 mark. Also, the image at the top of this page is of the barn with the flaps and doors open.

Question

How will the dinner portion of the reception look?

Answer

We will no longer be serving a family-style dinner. Dinner will take place in the barn at Arnold House with doors and side flaps open for optimal ventilation.

Question

What measures will the venue take to ensure health and safety?

Answer

For the safety of everyone, our guest list will not exceed 70 people. We will be requiring a rapid test upon arrival. All wedding events will be indoor/outdoor with the option to remain outside for the entirety of the event. The barn at Arnold House, where we will have our reception, will have side flaps open, allowing for optimal ventilation. The outdoor area will allow for social distancing and will be equipped with tables and chairs, DJ speakers, a bonfire, and games. There will be strict mask and social distancing requirements at the bar, in restrooms, and when interacting with vendors and venue staff.

Question

How will you ensure that all guests have followed the COVID-19 health and safety measures?

Answer

We will be asking to see proof of everyone's negative COVID tests before entering the venue. Please be ready with a print out or screen grab of your test results. We will be working closely with our vendors and venue staff to ensure that all health and safety measure are adhered to.

For all the days along the way
