Things To Do
Downtown Chicago
A lot of attractions are in the downtown area of Chicago, such as Navy Pier, Willis (Sear's) Tower observatory, the Bean, and the Starbucks Reserve Roastery. If you want to shop, take a walk down Michigan Avenue.
Chicago Botanic Garden
If you like plants and a variety of intricate gardens, look no further and check this place out. With 385 acres of gardens and walking paths, this will keep you entertained for hours. Notable gardens include the English Walled Garden, Japanese Garden, Fruit & Vegetable Garden, and Rose Garden. Walking through the gardens is one of our favorite ways to relax and unwind.
Long Grove
A small historic town in the northwest suburbs of Chicagoland, featuring a brewery, winery, and a few restaurants. They also have a covered bridge!
Starved Rock State Park
A fun hike that's less than 2 hours away! This hike is great for beginners and has several different trails you can take depending on how much time you have to spare.
Milwaukee Brewers
Conveniently located less than 2 hours away is the Milwaukee Brewers ballpark. They will be playing the Yankees this weekend, so check them out if you get a chance! While you're in Wisconsin, make sure to try fresh cheese curds.
