Florence - Amerigo Vespucci Airport (FLR)

Florence airport is a 35 minute drive from the venue. you can take the train from Firenze Santa Maria Novella to Empoli, which is then a 10 minute drive.

Pisa - Pisa International Airport (PSA)

Pisa is a 50 minute drive to the Venue. You can take the train from Pisa Centrale to Empoli which is a 10 minute drive to the venue.

Travel Note

Rental Car

Due to the location of the venue, we recommend renting a car (plus it is the best way to experience Tuscany)! Driving in Italy is extremely easy and you drive on the same side of the road as you do here in America. There are many helpful videos on youtube that discuss driving in Italy :) Drivers License: You will need an international driver's license to rent a car. You can easily get them for around $20 from AAA, all you need to do is go into an AAA with your passport and they can get it set up. We usually rent our cars from SicilyByCar or Eurocar but there are many other rental companies that are just as good. You can also always use some American rental companies, but I found their rates to be higher than the European options. There are plenty of Airbnbs and hotels in the area. We recommend staying near the venue in Empoli or in Florence, which is just about 30 minutes away!
