Maid of Honor
Friends for 7 years and counting since we first met in university, Kaitlin and my relationship is one that I always knew would be lifelong. We’ve shared memories together that have seen many phases – from academics, to life in new cities, career moves, and more. Our bond is filled with laughter, years of joy, and a forever trust that we are present for each other. I could not be more honored to see another chapter in our friendship be written by standing by her side on the day of.

Hi, I’m Kaitlin’s little sister, so I can clearly claim to have been her best friend the longest. I’ve really struggled to write this blurb because I cannot possibly describe in 800 characters how much I love my big sister. Although Kaitlin and I live 3,800 km apart, I still talk to her more than anyone else. I’ve always been the first person that she calls in times of crisis (stranded in the Omaha airport or wanting to change jobs… again), but I’ve noticed over the past two years that person has become Mathieu. Unfortunately due to COVID, I haven’t been able to spend very much time with Mathieu, but I am really looking forward to the wedding this summer and to getting to know him and his family better!

Kaitlin was one of my first introductions to New York City, having met through mutual friends. Over the past couple of years Kaitlin and I have been making our way through a never-ending bucket list of our favourite things to experience in the city: the dancing, the food, the vacations, the art and the many laughs. I am originally from Toronto and I work in finance in NYC. In my free time I love to read, paint and practice yoga

Kaitlin and I met one of the first nights of freshman year. We bonded over our realization that both of our sports happened to be a hop skip and a jump from campus. Although miles from civilization, they were across the street from Agava. Kaitlin and I ended up spending countless brunches at Agava throughout our years at Cornell. Senior year, we decided to become roomates in the real world. We moved to Tribeca upon graduation. Shortly after Kaitlin and Mathieu moved to Chelsea, our brunches became a Sunday staple in their home. Needless to say, some of my favorite memories in NY have been the dinner parties, Sunday brunches and rooftop soirées hosted by Mathieu and Kaitlin. I can't wait to celebrate the most amazing couple and the two best hosts that I know.

Once Nicki moved to New York, we got to again spend cherished time together when she visited us on weekend getaways. Little did we know that having her live so close would bring the fortune of quarantining together with Mathieu. It was during these months that I was blessed with morning tennis matches against Mathieu (I have yet to find a sport he is not good at), afternoon walks and baking adventures with Nicki, and our classic Peach Hill Friday theme nights. The two of them bring so much life, creativity, and humor into this world, and watching them only amplify this as a couple is a true joy. In the fall of last year, I had the honor of officiating their legal marriage over Zoom, but I am thrilled to this time witness their wedding first-hand as one of Nicki’s bridesmaids.

I met Kaitlin on my first day of work in NY, as she was tasked with teaching me how to make a Goldman Sachs style slide deck. We went from bonding over our love of 5pm overpriced salads to being tied at the hip around the office in no time. Kaitlin is wicked smart, friendly to all, warm like sunshine, genuine and oh so stylish. She is just everything you could hope to find in a lifelong friend. From their countless dinner parties to weeklong 5th wheeling in the Hamptons rainstorm, any time spent with Kait and MB truly is the best of times - always full of good food, many laughs, and truly meaningful conversations. Counting down the days till our future retirement in Mayfair, but summers in France of course ~

Katilin and I met one evening out at Cornell. We spent the night dancing, followed by the longest meal one could ever imagine (frankly, a pretty good first (best-friend) date if you ask me!). It was true best-friendship at first sight. I mean, I was wowed – beauty, brains, excellent taste in wine – what more could one ask for!? Turns out, my (best-friend) date liked me back! Kait wanted to see me again – I sure was excited! We danced & dined another night away and simply haven’t stopped dancing & dining since. Sure, some yoga, hikes, and a shopping trip or 2,489 have worked their way in there, but the general sentiment stands: Dance, Dine, Repeat. Can’t wait to dance & dine the evening away to celebrate this monumental day with my best friend. Cheers to you Kait & MB.

Camille and Kaitlin joined BCG New York in the same start class and happened to sit next to one another on the first day of training; by the end of the day, they had made dinner plans that would become a recurring date. New-York-bound through most of COVID, the two did a lot of damage at NYC’s finest brunch spots and nail salons, which all became too easy when Camille decided to move to Chelsea - just two blocks from Kaitlin and Mathieu’s flat - and declared herself permanent third wheel. Last year, Kaitlin bravely joined the Prices on a biking holiday through Provence, after which Kaitlin was declared an official member of the family. On the same trip, Kaitlin and Camille were mistaken for a lesbian couple when Mathieu sent them to a gay bar in Paris - a clever move that he still denies!
Best Man
Mathieu and I met at a Bachelor's party in Budapest as we realized we were both moving to New York City. At the time, little did I know that this was the beginning of a wonderful friendship! I like to think that I may have contributed to boosting Mathieu’s charm as he started dating "this girl from the office", thanks to an intensive coaching program: staying in shape (although I couldn’t beat him at ski or tennis), being social (I do beat him at beers) or keeping a strong French accent (black belt on this one). Progressively, Kaitlin became a dear friend and official 3rd roommate during the pandemic, or to put it differently, I became the official 3rd wheel! Witnessing their love story blossom, I couldn’t be happier to be by their sides for this next chapter of their lives!
Candle Lighter
If Kaitlin wanted to marry a piece of France, she made the right choice. I met Mathieu in '08 in a cold classroom in Paris and to date, he remains the most Parisian I have known, but for for some odd reason (“love” they say) he decided to stay in the US. We share countless memories together: 1st summer in NYC ('09) trying to pull the fake IDs trick, sharing a 2-bedroom apartment with 5 friends in the Paris suburbs (’13-14), summers in Benat (’12- ...) and many fun nights in Paris. We met Kaitlin for the first time in '18: she had travelled 5,800 km to spend New Years Eve with us and our inexistent English. You must be quite in love to ruin your holidays like that, and even more to do it again in '20&'21 ! I can’t wait to celebrate and keep building new memories going forward with them.
Groomsman
Victor has been Mathieu's partner in crime since HEC and the BDE era. Beside their time at HEC they travelled to Nepal, India, and Iran together and started spending more and more time together after HEC when starting their young adult life, going out between the Bus Palladium and Memphis, and in vacations, diving around Cap Benat. After working a few years at a startup in France, Victor started an investigation on the cashmere industry, from Mongolia to Scotland, published a book, and is now starting a company in the forest industry. But he prefers playing rugby and guitar, sailing and diving, and going to festivals with friends.

Mathieu and Thibaud met in 2008. They quickly bonded over mathematics, the American presidential campaign, and an unassumed but real enjoyment for mild provocation in the classroom. After two years of studying side by side, they joined HEC together. Since then, their friendship has been part travel (in Iran, in Corsica, in Benat..), part distance (M in Paris, T in NYC, until T convinced M to joined him there), but more importantly one of fun and laughter, of mutual respect and of deep appreciation for each other’s presence - at least that’s what Thibaud thinks 😊! Thibaud thinks Mathieu is lucky to have found Kaitlin and looks forward to celebrating with them and to many more years together in NYC.

Matthieu a.k.a. Monaco : one of the few guys named after the name of the place he comes from. Things I have in common with the groom : - we bear first name (although his is misspelled and is missing a "t") - we were university fraternity - we used to be roommates - we have the same tattoo under the left arm - we both worked for Goldman Sachs

Mathieu and I met at HEC about 12 years ago while discovering student life and its excitements (in-depth financial market analysis, supply chain management and of course marathon group projects over the WE!). More importantly, we’ve managed to stay in close contact despite adult life challenges – the Atlantic ocean, time-zone difference and demanding work arrangements – and regularly saw each other in NY, London and Paris. While trying to describe Mathieu – Kaitlin comes up very high on the list. A voluble Mathieu would say (after a few beers) – that Kaitlin makes him the best version of himself, and I couldn't agree more Really excited to witness the love story officializing next July and to welcome Kaitlin in our group of friends for life!

Mathieu and I met in middle-school, 20 years ago. At the time, we were 4’8’’ tall mathematics geniuses, highly popular and considered as superstars (no one can really testify on that now, so will go with that version of the story). Our teenage years were spent as co-captains of the "real football" team, until unfortunate injuries prevented us from later displaying our skills to anyone who will be present at the wedding. Against all odds, we ended-up studying at HEC Paris, where we met some of the "Nobel Prizes" you can find on this wedding website page. I am really excited to witness this marriage ! I apologies in advance for everything that Kailin will have to endure by joining our group of friends : subtle sense of humor, endless debate on politics and barely understandable English …

Mathieu and I met back when we both lived in NYC and our friendship is still thriving despite us now being on opposite sides of the US. We initially bonded over (slightly) controversial political views and our favorite Borat quotes, but our friendship has since expanded into our mutual love of car washes. All jokes aside, Kaitlin and Mathieu made New York feel like home to Emma and I - we love our double dates together, spending rainy days in the Hamptons, and sharing one too many glasses of wine. It's obvious to anyone who has spent time with Kaitlin and Mathieu that they have a lifelong love. Cheers to their next chapter!
Brother of the Groom
Hi, I’m Roch, Mathieu’s brother. As my two bros, you can call me BIG. (The big BIG is the one who found the big love and the little BIG is the one that you can find below). First time I have to write my bio, I kinda like it! Kaitlin, Mathieu, it will be great to add a like/dislike button just to know if I should start looking for an editor. As you can imagine, I didn’t really choose to have Mathieu in my life. As far as I can remember, I always had to deal with his highly competitive spirit, his melodic voice level and his repetition humor. It’s when he chose to leave for the US that I realised I would miss all of it. A few years later, when I met Kaitlin, I quickly understood I will continue to miss that. Ah l’Amour…What can I do against it! Kaitlin, Mathieu, I am immeasurably happy for you and I look forward to spend this emotional week-end celebrating with our united families.
Brother of the Groom
Hi, I’m Gabriel, Mathieu’s little brother. As my other brother, it wasn’t a choice to grow around that loud and tall guy. Competitor at heart, he wouldn’t even let his ten-years-younger brother win a point during a tennis-table game and by the way I’m still waiting for a rematch! Apart from that he remains a nice and attentive man, the type of person that send you a “kind reminder” cause he is still waiting for your bio for the wedding website! I’m very happy for Mathieu that he could find Kaitlin, I wish them a wonderful journey of happiness and can't wait to celebrate.
