Wormsloe Historic Site

Drive along Wormsloe's 1.5 miles of live oak trees and explore the estate of one of Georgia's colonial founders. The estate is is about 10 miles away from the riverfront.
Fort Pulaski National Monument

This fort was used during the Civil War and was the location where the Union army tested the rifled canon in combat. We highly recommend taking a guided tour! Fort Pulaski is about a 20 minute drive from the riverfront.
Tybee Island

Tybee Island is home to one of the seven surviving colonial lighthouses and is a great spot to get some sand between your toes. It's about a 25 minute drive away from the Savannah Riverfront but is a must see if you'd like to see the beach!
