We met at a bowling networking mixer during an attorney conference in Boston—proof that even lawyers need a little help from Cupid (and maybe a lucky spare). Josh was admiring said lucky spare that Kaitlin just bowled and he was shocked/intrigued at how good that cute girl was bowling. She stopped over by the pizza table, and that's when he said hi. Between slices and shy smiles, something sparked. What started at a networking event (and Josh giving Kaitlin his WORK CELLPHONE lol) turned into late-night conversations on their shared faith, Mario Kart sessions, laughter, and now, a lifetime of love.
But Josh had one last sparkler he saved in his jacket pocket. In fact, he was freaking out trying to keep Kaitlin on ONLY his left side because she would have felt the ring box in his right pocket. The next day tucked away in the quiet corner of the museum's library (yes, a library—shhh!), he popped the question softly between the stacks of old leatherbound Bibles and capitalist tomes. In a room storied with centuries of old-world charm and the scent of well-loved manuscripts, she said yes! Now we're shelving single life and checking out our favorite book forever.
We'll be tying the knot in the beautiful Catholic parish that Kaitlin grew up in, followed by a celebration at a stunning art museum where faith, love, and creativity come together for the crossover episode of all our favorite people. The day will be a reflection of our shared passions: timeless tradition, creative spaces, and beautiful moments that point to the true Author of all that is good in life. Thank you for being part of our story. Also... do you like jazz?
