In the winter of 2011 a boy met a girl swing dancing in Seattle. It was the at the Century Ballroom where we had our first dance, and unbeknownst to us at the time, a dancing partner for life.

It was a vacation to Whistler that provided the perfect backdrop for the occasion. As our group made their way back to the condo from dinner some of us stopped just outside our door to play in fresh deep snow. It was in those playful moments playing out in the feet of snow that Josh decided it was the perfect moment to propose. Kaitlin had pushed Josh down in the snow one final time, but instead of getting all the way back up he just got to one knee.
