In the center of the city, you'll find the stunning Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore with it's towering Duomo and it's colored marble façade. Tip: Entry to the cathedral is free however to access the top of the Duomo, $35 tickets must be purchased in advance.

Ponte Vecchio

Walk over to the Arno (river) which runs through Florence. Here you'll find wonderful views of the city and the famous Ponte Vecchio - walk across and do some window (or actual!) shopping in the jewelry and watch shops that line the bridge.
