How do we find the venue?

Answer

DO NOT PUT WALKERS LANDING OR ITS ADDRESS INTO YOUR GPS. Put Omni Amelia Island into your GPS. Enter the Main Gate to the Omni Amelia Island Resort, proceed to the Security Gate then take the first right and continue over the bridge, at the stop sign, take a left on Marsh Creek Rd and follow it around until you see the entrance for Walkers Landing. There will be signage guiding along the way.

What is parking like at the venue?

There will be free parking provided next to the building where the reception is located.

Are you having a ceremony?

Answer

While we would love for all of you to be there we are wanting something a little more intimate and personal. This reception is our time to celebrate that moment with everyone! Expect a cocktail hour, dinner, drinks and dancing!

Will this be an indoor or outdoor event?

Answer

The reception will be held indoors.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask that men wear dress shirt and tie, sports coat or suit & women wear midi formal, tea-length or floor length dresses. Please, do not wear jeans.

Where are you both registered?

Answer

We have a registry linked through Zola. By clicking the Registry tab you will be able to purchase the gift directly from the site.

Where can I stay?

Are there Ubers and Lyfts in that area?

Answer

Very few. I have put suggestions for transportation services in the Travel Tab. We do suggest renting a car when visiting.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We wouldn't want it any other way! We will have an open bar with beer and wine. We will also have a mocktail, Shirley Temples, Roy Rogers, lemonade and tea.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Please ensure that you are RSVPing for yourself and your guest.

Are kids invited?

Answer

If your child is invited they will be listed on your invitation and when you RSVP.

Can I change my RSVP if needed?

Answer

Of course! We completely understand that things come up. If you need to update your RSVP, just let us know as soon as possible, preferably before December 7, 2027, so we can plan accordingly. Just click on the RSVP on the website again to change it.

What if I don't RSVP?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP by December 7, 2027 you will be marked as a "No". We will miss you celebrating with us, however, we have to provide a total guest count to the venue and vendors by the time they gave us. Thank you for understanding.

What time does the reception end?

Answer

We will be making our exit at 9:00 pm and our vendors will promptly break down at that time.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We have hired an amazing photographer to capture every detail of this day and we will of course love to share those photos with you afterwards! Enjoy yourself and don't worry about having to get the shot!
