Kaitlin and Doug’s relationship was built on the important foundation of friendship. They initially met their sophomore year in college briefly prior to COVID-19 sending them home till the next school year. At the beginning of junior year, they had quickly became best friends and spent countless hours at Harry’s. They were always the bestest of friends, but all of their friends thought they would one day be more. One day during their senior year, prior to class, Doug had asked Kaitlin to get coffee at which he had asked her to go on a date with him. A few weeks later, Doug had planned out a four part date in which he would take Kaitlin to dinner, get hot cocoa, look at Christmas lights, and then star gaze at a nearby park. Fast forward almost 3 years, Doug asked Kaitin to marry him at that park where their first date was. Since then, they have now purchased their first home together and are excited to begin the rest of their lives. We are so excited to start this journey with all of our favorite people on our special day.
