We’re getting married!

David and Kaitlin were placed in the same bible study group to lead with another couple in September 2020. They both attended the same church but had never met prior to the group. David had been eyeing Kaitlin for several months and patiently waited since they were both prioritizing their focus on leading the group. In mid-February 2021, on a freezing night with no power or water in the infamous Texas freeze, David asked Kaitlin out. They planned for that following Sunday to meet for lunch after church. Kaitlin woke up with a fever; thanks, Covid! She had to cancel the first date and make him wait another 10 days. When they finally went out to have lunch at Buffalo Bayou Brewery in March, Kaitlin could barely taste anything, but she was still up for a walk with the downtown view. At the end of the date, he told her it was the worth the wait. Within two months, David’s job moved him to the beautiful west coast in Orange County. Long distance couldn’t keep them from falling in love with each other. Here we are almost 2 years later, many flights later, and Kaitlin agrees, David was worth the wait!
