Our love story began in 2015 in River Falls, WI. I was living with Trent - David's best friend from high school. David came down for the weekend to visit Trent and we almost instantly hit it off. If you had to ask us where our first date was I guess we'd have to say a trip to Ace Hardware and Burger King (lol) I needed help hanging a wine rack! After that it was just natural for us to fall into a relationship. We dated long distance for about nine months before we decided that I should move across the state so we could be together. It's been four years together and we're so grateful for our amazing life together. David proposed in April of 2018 during a trip to Mexico. I wouldn't say Dave is the sneakiest person so it wasn't really a surprise. But he planned a romantic dinner on the beach during sunset, took me on a walk along the beach afterwards and popped the question! It was everything I could've hoped for. After a two year engagement and lots of planning we were so excited to finally tie the knot. And then......covid. Making the decision to postpone was really difficult, and we were heartbroken. But the safety of our family and friends is important to us. At the end of the day we were just grateful to be happy and healthy. We had an intimate ceremony with our immediate family on our original date, but we missed everyone else that we love. While we know it is still a scary time we are hoping to be able to celebrate with you!
