Traveling from NYC?
The Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) offers direct service from Penn Station in Manhattan to Stony Brook Station on the Port Jefferson Branch. The ride typically takes about 2–2.5 hours. Most trains require a transfer at Jamaica Station or Huntington Station, so listen for announcements. Once you arrive at Stony Brook Station, it’s a quick taxi or rideshare (about 5–10 minutes) to the Estate at Three Village Inn. For schedules and tickets:
