Salisbury Beach

Our wedding venue (Blue Ocean Event Center) is situated directly on Salisbury Beach, which has a few restaurants and bars located within short walking distance. There is also an arcade (Joe's Playland) and the famous beach pizza from Tripoli and Cristy's. The beach is great, particularly at low tide (be sure to check the tide charts in advance).

The Deck

The Deck is the ultimate spot for waterfront drinks. The live music on the upper deck is fun when they have it!

Newburyport

Exploring Newburyport, MA (where we now live in our first home together) is a great way to spend the day! Be sure to check out State Street and Merrimac Street downtown as well as the Newburyport Waterfront. Our favorite breakfast spots: Angie's Diner; Olive's Coffee and Bakehouse; Plum Island Coffee. Our favorite lunch/dinner spots: Black Cow; Bar 25; Brown Sugar by the Sea Our favorite bars: Bar 25, Paddle Inn and Tuscan Sea Grill (for the best craft cocktails); Michael's Harborside and Tuscan Sea Grill (for the best water views); Thirsty Whale (local dive bar).

Downtown Amesbury

Amesbury, MA has a nice little downtown - we recommend checking out Crave for lunch/dinner and Morning Buzz Cafe for breakfast.

Cider Hill Farm

Farm/farmstand in Amesbury, MA. They have an outdoor hard cider bar and make homemade cider doughnuts.

Portsmouth

Fun little city on the New Hampshire-Maine border. Highly recommend checking it out if you haven't been before (we love Surf for lunch/dinner).

Hampton Beach

Hampton Beach is known for its "strip" which hosts a number of casual shops, restaurants and bars. The beach here is long and wide with a playground.
