Kaitlin had her heart set on seeing the new Barbie movie, and while it wasn’t exactly Bradley’s idea of a first-date film, he said yes anyway. With clammy hands and butterflies, we sat through the movie… and somehow, it just worked. From that first night, something felt right. Our time together quickly filled with golf dates, DIY crafts at home, long phone calls until one of us fell asleep, and more laughter than we could’ve hoped for. It wasn’t long before we realized we didn’t want to spend another day apart, so we didn’t. We moved in together and never looked back.Evening walks with Toby, Bradley and Kaitlin soon became nightly occurrences. Then came what Kaitlin thought was just a birthday getaway… Bradley planned a trip to Boyne Mountain, where we took the ski lift up to cross the suspension sky bridge. Once we reached the other side, Bradley got down on one knee. Kaitlin only remembers hearing the word forever, and said “yes” at least five times. To make the moment even more unforgettable, Bradley had a photographer there to capture it all. The surprises didn’t stop there. Back at the Airbnb, Kaitlin’s friends were waiting to celebrate, kicking off a weekend of love, laughter, and champagne toasts in Traverse City. Since then, planning our wedding has been its own wild ride, from touring venues and setting a budget, to picking out our wedding colors and asking our closest friends to stand by our side. Bradley has been right there through it all, offering advice, feedback, and (let’s be honest) assigning Kaitlin a few extra tasks along the way.. But why stop at planning a wedding? In true us fashion, we decided to also buy a boat and adopt our sweet rescue pup, Tillie. Life hasn’t slowed down since, and honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way. Our days are full of adventure, laughter, and a constant sense that there’s never a dull moment. This next chapter ~ our wedding ~ is shaping up to be the biggest and best adventure yet. And we’re so grateful to have you along for the ride.
