We met after New Year's of 2022 through a match on Tinder (risky I know). He asked to take me to Olive Garden on a date, but I declined and said I would instead cook him dinner at my apartment (again, risky I know). I "cooked" chicken tacos in the crock pot for dinner. He came to my apartment with flowers in hand and we didn't eat for hours after his arrival. We were busy talking (for those of you who know Brad you know that is rare since he doesn't say much). Around a month of dating was all it took for Brad to ask me to be his girlfriend. A couple of weeks after that, my life had truly changed forever when I met his son Preston. My first adventure with Preston was when Brad and I took him to COSI. That day I learned how wild, rambunctious, and smart he was. He was shy at first, but he quickly warmed up to me by throwing the football with him. A short three months later (AGAIN, risky), Brad and Preston moved in to my one bedroom, one bathroom apartment with me. We had a toddler bed for Preston pulled up beside our bed (it looked like a small orphanage). Throughout the years, our little family has had so many great memories. We are so excited to add this special day to our list of great memories together and to celebrate with you all!
