Question

I want to stay in the area. Where Should I Stay?

Answer

Please check out the travel tab above. We can check with the resort on adding another room to our room block, however availability is not guaranteed. I recommend the Quality Inn.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Please dress formal. Think midi/maxi dresses and jumpsuits. We welcome colors and florals. Lightweight suits or dress pants with a button down shirt. Ties are optional. Black suits are fine. Please no sneakers and, unless you are marrying Ben Maynard, please no white dresses. A note for the ladies: Know thyself. The grounds of the venue are beautiful and *expansive*. The lawns are turf, however, if you do not think you will be able to travel from the front of the resort to the ceremony and reception site (in the back of the resort), please plan accordingly.

What is the parking situation?

Answer

Terranea has a valet onsite and charges $27/vehicle for event parking. Please let the parking attendant know you are here for Ben and Kaitlin's wedding.

Will there be drinks?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar. Please partake responsibly.

Question

Will there be any events for those staying in the area?

Answer

Yes! Please join the bride and groom for a welcome reception (drinks only) on Thursday, September 25th at 7:30pm at Ocean Lawn Terranea Resort. On Saturday, September 27th, we will be having a Farewell Brunch at the Channel Islands Suite at 9am. Please RSVP to the bride and groom if you have not done so already.
