Looking for a fun way to cool off during the wedding weekend? Thundering Surf Waterpark is the perfect spot! Located right in Beach Haven, it features thrilling water slides, a relaxing lazy river, and a splash zone for the little ones. You can also enjoy two mini-golf courses next door for a laid-back afternoon. Whether you're traveling with kids or just want to channel your inner child, it's a great way to soak up some sun and fun on LBI!
Barnegat Lighthouse State Park
Located at the northern tip of Long Beach Island, Barnegat Lighthouse (aka "Old Barney") is a beautiful historic site and one of LBI’s most iconic attractions. Visitors can climb the 217 steps to the top for breathtaking panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, Barnegat Bay, and Island coastline. Whether you're into history, nature walks, or just want a great photo op, it's a scenic spot worth the short drive from Beach Haven. Perfect for a peaceful morning adventure or a sunset visit before wedding festivities begin! Open daily from 9AM to 3PM.
Bay Village/Schooners Wharf
Located in the heart of Beach Haven, Bay Village and Schooner’s Wharf offer a charming collection of boutiques, surf shops, and local eateries all nestled along the bay. It’s the perfect place to pick up souvenirs, browse handmade goods, or grab a sweet treat like fudge or saltwater taffy. With a relaxed boardwalk feel and beautiful bayfront views, it’s an ideal spot to wander, shop, and soak in the coastal vibe during your stay.
