What are the current COVID-19 guidelines for your wedding?

Answer

Since regulations are in constant flux, we will link all updated guidelines (testing, mask protocol, social distancing, etc.) for NY wedding attendance here: https://www.grandviewevents.com/covid-19-guidelines/ Our wedding is classified as an outdoor event with less than 200 people.

What if I already booked a room at the Poughkeepsie Grand through your room block?

Answer

The Poughkeepsie Grand has cancelled all rooms currently booked in our block for 6/26/2020. You do not need to call them to cancel if you booked through the room block. No additional fees will be applied. If you plan on booking a room for the new date (Friday July 16 2021) you can rebook with the same block code (FITDE).

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! We have a block of rooms at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel. Our discount/room block code is FITDE. See the Travel Page for more information. Cut off date 6/16/2021

IS THERE A SHUTTLE TO AND FROM THE HOTEL TO THE CEREMONY?

Answer

Yes shuttle service will be available between the Poughkeepsie Grand and the Grandview. More details to follow

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks.

CAN I BRING A DATE?

Answer

Due to our venue's size limitations if your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, then its just you. We'd love to invite everyone but space is limited
