We met at Chili’s in Chino Hills in 2015 after Kaitlin was hired as a hostess. Special thanks and a shoutout to Jessica, her cousin for getting her the job. I was obviously the cool server, and I was immediately infatuated. I did the only thing I could, and pushed her over as she was tying her shoe at the host stand. We talked about our love for cool socks, all things Disney and quickly got to know one another. I finally mustered up the courage to ask her out on a date to go to the San Diego Zoo. The first thing her cousin told me was, “You better be nice to her, or I’ll kick your ass!”, and she still holds me to that. We moved in after a year together and the rest is history. Over our 7 years together, we have had the opportunity to live with one another, work together, raise our two pups, go on many adventures and now we’ll get to grow old together. (And for our parents who are so eagerly waiting- one day start a family. Since the grand-doggies aren’t enough!) It’s clear San Diego has a special place in our hearts. From our first date, anniversary trips, to our proposal, and now getting married here. It’s always our go-to when we need a quick getaway and it has held such special moments throughout our relationship. We are excited that our closest friends and family get to share this day with us, and celebrate a life of marriage, love and happiness that is to ensue. Love, The Future Mr. & Mrs. Licon
