Matron of Honor- Sister of the Bride
Ashlen is my oldest sister and I was forced to be her friend since the day I was born, which sometimes I loved and other times hated. When we were younger we were not as close and as we became older we have become really good friends. We share a lot of the same interests and we were always involved in similar activities throughout high school, college and still today. Ashlen has always known how to make me so mad but then also how to laugh extremely hard at how hilarious she can be. There are so many things in life that Ashlen has taught me and has made me the person that I am today. I was so thankful to be able to stand by Ashlen on her big day and I am so thankful to have her as my matron of honor for our special day!
Maid of Honor- Sister of the Bride
Rianne is my youngest sister and has brought so many laughs into my life. Rianne loves to dance, play volleyball, play softball, third wheel on Spencer and I's dates and most importantly watch the office. I have so many memories of watching Rianne growing up throughout the years but some of my favorites have come from watching her dance when she was younger to whatever music, wherever she was. I cant think of someone better to have as my maid of honor. Keep your ears peeled for her maid of honor speech during the reception because I am sure she will give everyone a good laugh.
Bridesmaid- Friend of the Bride and Groom
Sarah is my college best friend and has been one of my biggest supporters in life. We have worked together, played volleyball, went on spring break, been workout buddies (until I gave up- go figure), and have had so many great memories together. Sarah is one of the most kind hearted people I know and would do anything for me if I needed her to. I was so happy that Spencer had her involved in his plan for proposing to me and she was there for it all. I cant wait for her to be there on my big day so that we can cry like big babies together.
Bridesmaid- Sister of the Groom
Samm is my oldest sister. She has literally been there since day 1. She has been through all my ups and downs and has always been someone I can go to when I need anything. She has always been super supportive through my sports and everything else. All though she lives in a land far far away (West Virginia) we are super excited to have her home and a part of the wedding.
Bridesmaid- Sister of the Groom
Tori is my youngest sister. Tori and I have many similarities, whether its music or sports we love to just hang out, have fun and laugh. She is the best at making me feel funny, since she laughs at everything. She will be a joy to have in the wedding and Kaitlen and I are both super excited that she is following it our footsteps to Winona to become a Warrior.
Best Man- Friend of the Groom and Bride
Tyler has been my best friend throughout college and has basically been Kaitlen and my third wheel. He was my co-host on the radio, my roommate, my classmate and always someone to talk with, whether it’s sports, school or life. Without Ty forcing me to hang out with his friends I would have never met Kaitlen. So, for all these reasons I couldn't think of a better person to have as my best man, all though I am a little worried about his speech at the reception.
Groomsman- Cousin of the Groom
Jake has lived across the street from me ever since I remember. He is my cousin but also one of my closest friends. From holidays on the lake at Grandmas to playing sports together to random afternoons spent playing in our basements, Jake and I seemed to always have fun. Jake taught me everything I know about music and our time playing in bands at church together is a memory I will forever carry, its just a good thing neither of us ever had to sing. Jake has been around for all my ups and downs and I couldn't be happier to have him standing with me on my wedding day.
Groomsman- Friend of the Groom
Shane and I met in 9th grade when we got seated next to each other in history class. Swimmers and Hockey players don't usually become best friends but our differences are what have kept us close through all these years. It seemed like everyday that we didn't have practice we were together, riding his motorcycles (illegally), going to his cabin and living through high school together. College put us six hours away from each other and work has put us even farther, but we still find ways to connect whenever possible. He is a great friend and I'm excited for him to stand by my side on my big day.
Groomsman- Brother- in- Law of the Bride
Travis is my brother-in-law (He is married to Ashlen) and I have known him since the first day he awkwardly came into our house taking Ashlen on a date. I was not so sure about him right away but quickly learned that he was a great guy. Travis has always been one of my biggest cheerleaders in life and is always wanting the best for me. My favorite memory with Travis was going with him to pick out Ashlen's engagement ring with him but my least favorite was keeping that a secret for 4 months. I am excited to have Travis stand by Spencer and I on our big day.
Groomsman- Cousin of the Groom
Zac grew up within a mile from my house, but we spent a majority of our time at church where both of our moms worked. We worked together setting up tables and chairs at church and hung out every Wednesday as we got Chipotle before youth group. We bonded by watching football on Sunday and going on family trips across the country and up north. Zac is now employed at pearl harbor with the navy, but when he comes home we pick up like nothing every changed. Zac is always there for me when I need him and we are all hoping he can make it back from his tour overseas to stand next to me at the wedding.
Usher- Cousin of the Bride
A.J. is my first cousin and there is no one else like him. He is sure to bring a laugh to anyone he ever talks to with him slang words or his new found hick lifestyle. My favorite memories with A.J. come from when he would come to Zumbrota to hunt and we would get to hang out once they would get back from the woods.
Usher- Cousin of the Bride
Tanner is my first cousin. Tanner and I have some pretty great memories that involve Ashlen, grandmas living room and a Shania Twain music videos on VCR. We got to spend a lot of time together when we were younger and became really close. Our families would go on a trip to the Dells every summer and it was something I looked forward to every year.
Usher- Friend of the Bride and Groom
Ethan is one of Spencer and I's close college friends. I first met Ethan as a Freshman in college when I became closer with Sarah because they are a couple. We started a Co-Ed volleyball team and I soon learned that he was a cool guy but needed some work on his volleyball skills. After Spencer and I had been dating for a few weeks I told her that Spencer and Ethan needed to meet and be friends so that we could all hang out together and they quickly became close friends. Ethan was also with Spencer on the day he proposed and helped him with the planning of it.
Flower Girl- Niece of the Bride
Kelcin is my niece and goddaughter and she will be just turning one before the wedding. She has quite a personality and knows how to make everyone around her smile. I am so thankful to have such a cute, happy niece in my life that gets to be part of our day!
Personal Attendant- Friend of the Bride
Ali and I's friendship began way back in elementary school playing sports and going to school together. In high school we became really close friends and bonded through all of our days in softball. In college Ali and I both attended Winona State and became roommates in our second year there and managed not to hate each other after the year was over. To this day we are still close friends and play slow-pitch softball together.
Personal Attendant- Friend of the Bride
Molly and I have been really good friends ever since the day she came to my birthday party and got me a hula-hoop. I have always called Molly my blonde friend because she has a lot of "OOOHHHH" moments in her life. We got to play volleyball together throughout our whole high school career and work together at the golf course. We may not get to see each other as much anymore but every time we do it is like nothing ever changed.
