Well many of you know we met in San Francisco at the infamous Santa Con. Just two Santas that locked eyes across a bar as one Santa was playing pool (you can guess which one of us was sharking their friends). But what you DON'T know is that we ended our night at a sports bar for James to get some wings - Kezar's Pub. The magic of this moment is that James' grandfather frequented this pub so often that his name is inside the bar. Of all the places Kaitie chose to take James, it was one that had family ties. Hallmark - give us a call ;) And so on life went with each other by their side. First moving in together April 2020 in Sausalito (yes, we moved everything by ourselves because James likes to test Kaitie's strength and patience) where we made new friends and stayed connected to the city. Then to San Rafael for a year-ish and now to our new town, Winters. Increasing square footage a bit along the way as James' hobbies and gadgets grew. And we cannot forget the best addition to our lives - Franny girl! The cherry on top to our little family. She makes every return from work happier and greets every morning wake up with plenty of yawns. We cannot wait to host you all at The Franklin Ranch. Kaitie and her sister Maddy are the 5th generation of their family to be raised on the property. The trees are over 150 years old and the house was built from a Sears Catalogue using redwood from Mount Madonna. The ranch holds a certain magic - you will just have to see for yourself. Historically, the buildings were fruit and nut drying facilities while the land was host to prune trees. While that business is no longer, you will see a few prune trees left on the property. We can't wait to show you in person!
