June 21, 2021 ~ House of Faith hosted their monthly worship night in Jacksonville, FL. We didn't know each other yet, but it all began when we made eye contact amidst a crowded room and thought, "huh, that person is really cute..." Conor ended up sitting behind me and says he really got a glimpse of my heart for the Lord though my worship, and that caught his attention. July 17, 2021 ~ Our good friends Jesse and Kayla started dating a few weeks before, and when Jesse was moving into the new Bro House he invited Kayla and I over to come meet his "awesome Christian guy friends". This is the day we met... July 24, 2021 ~ Boat day. On this day, we talked, flirted, and dominated in spikeball! I was supposed to go to church and get coffee with Kayla the next day, but when Conor overheard her bailing on me (for good reason) he swooped in and suggested that we go get coffee together instead... So we did. July 25, 2021 ~ Our unofficial first date: 2 hours of talking, laughing, and sharing our testimonies in Sago. August 11, 2021 ~ Our official first date: a picnic and bible study on Jax Beach. August 27, 2021 ~ The night we made it official. After a few weeks of dating, having fun, and getting to know each other and our heart's for the Lord, Conor took us to St. Augustine for the sweetest night at Ice Plant and Tini Martini Bar, and planned to ask me to be his girlfriend under the stars (because he knows I love looking at the stars)... While the stars never showed, I was more than honored to accept his offer while one of my favorite songs (August) played in the background! October 17, 2021 ~ Conor got to see just how much I love musicals (a lot) when we went to see Hamilton. October 30, 2021 ~ Our day-trip to Savannah, GA. November 3-7, 2021 ~ Our first time in NYC. This weekend was packed full of delicious dinners, taking so many photos, walking (26 miles if we remember correctly), cute fits, fun activities, and finding our favorite rooftop spot (on accident) Dear Irving on Hudson! January 8-9, 2022 ~ Our trip to Disney World. April 5, 2022 ~ Our second, sweet date in St. Augustine at our favorites, Ice Plant and Tini Martini... These places have a special meaning of beginnings for us. April 8, 2022 ~ Conor moves to NYC! This was such a big goal of his and a huge answered prayer (Go God)! And thus begins the journey of long distance... September 1, 2023 ~ After a year and a half of prayer, going back and forth between NY and FL almost every month, trying times and amazingly fun times, multiple failed attempts to live in NYC, promotions and new jobs, celebrating the marriages of all our closest friends, some fun trips to Italy, Paris, and Utah, a couple of photoshoots, a couple of moves, and a whole lot of patience and dependence on our good and gracious Heavenly Father, it was FINALLY our time to live in the same city! We began our Brooklyn courtship and got to feel what it's like to do life together again... January 13, 2024 ~ The sweetest day of our story so far... Conor planned the most amazing and intimate proposal at sunset in a meadow by the water. Here he expressed the kindest sentiments and excitement for the future we would soon step into together before getting on one knee to ask me to be his wife forever! "Yea" was my first response, which was quickly corrected to be as sure "YES!" by my new fiancé, and he placed a ring as beautiful as our love and, more importantly, the love of our Father on my hand! We couldn't be more excited to step into this marriage together, and with all of you by our side to support us through the merry times and challenging. Our story is one of the Lord's goodness and faithfulness, and our dependence on Him has brought us exactly where He wants us to be. Through continued prayer and obedience to God, we are expectant and ready to see where He leads us and how He grows us together over the rest of our lives... April 20, 2024 ~ We become one...
