Worlds End State Park
World's End is a peaceful State Park that's only a 10 minute drive from camp. Some hikes, walking trails, a snack shop (with weird hours though so no promises it's open), and a pretty creek to hang out at.
High Knob Overlook
A great overlook all the locals go to. Take a right onto High Knob road and pay attention for the overlook sign to be on your right after a mile or 2. 20-25 minutes from camp
Canyon Vista Overlook
This one is a little tricky to find. It's the road across High Knob Road. There should be a Loyalsock State Forrest sign with Canyon Vista on it. If you drive back there and feel like you're lost, just keep driving. You're on the right road. BUT PAY ATTENTION!! You won't have service to reroute yourself. 20-25 minutes from camp
Camp Maple Lake

Camp Maple Lake
Take a dip in the pool or play basketball until you're sweaty and then jump in!
Ricketts Glen State Park
This park has a pretty cool waterfall trail and a lake beach to hang out at. There is a snack shack typically open there, but may be closed by this time depending on weather. About an hour drive.
Sullivan Falls
Right by Rickets Glenn, Sullivan Falls is a big waterfall that you can hike back to and take a dip in. About an hour drive
Becky's (Sunset) Ice Cream
Our FAVORITE ice cream place. If you've ever been to visit, you've been to Becky's with us...probably more than once. Our biggest accomplishment last year was when we walked up to the counter and she said "oh, there are my regulars!" 95% of our summer dates included dinner at Highknob Inn and dessert at Becky's. 15 minute drive from camp
High Knob Inn
Our favorite wings and fried pickles in SulCo. Warning: they usually take years to bring your food, but the wings are worth it. 15 minute drive from camp
Forksville General Store & Restaurant
The place to go if you like Philly Cheese Steaks. Big Mike (owner) is known in a lot of places for his killer food. Sit inside or enjoy a picnic table outside by the creek. 5 minute drive from camp
Jolly Trolley
A solid breakfast option for Saturday morning. Right down the road from the Dushore hotel, about a 25 minute drive from camp.
The Mad Bakers
DELICIOUS breakfast sandwiches, donuts and smoothies. (get their early for the best donuts). Probably my favorite breakfast spot in SulCo. About a 30 minute drive from camp
